Endaar Queen Mating Nucleus Box, a compact solution for housing two small colonies. This box comes with 3+3 frames, a vertical excluder, disk entrance, and a metal sheet roof.
Designed specifically for nurturing royal cells and young queens, each compartment holds 3 small frames, with a pocket feeder on top. The removable central wall allows for a single compartment with space for 7 frames.
To populate the nucleus box, select a strong brood frame from a robust colony and cut portions to fit the 6 small frames. Since the colony has limited foraging bees, regular feeding with sugar syrup is necessary using the pocket feeder. Once the small colony is ready, the beekeeper introduces the hatched royal cells from a thriving family.
After the queen completes her nuptial flight and begins laying eggs, she can be marked and placed in a special cage for transport or introduced into another colony in need.
